Susanne Pheffer is Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of The First National Bank of Long Island, joining the Bank in 2020. Susanne is an integral part of the development and success of our core banking system, as well as managing the IT and IS systems, resources and investments. In 2024, Susanne led the successful upgrade and conversion of the Bank’s core banking system and key ancillary systems.
Susanne began her career at State Bank of Long Island where she rose to both Vice President and Acting Controller and then Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Subsequent to State Bank’s acquisition, Susanne joined Kenneth J. Sole & Associates in 2007 as a Senior Consultant and Director of Operations. Her last role prior to joining 1N was Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Empire National Bank.
Susanne’s expertise in banking operations and leadership have demonstrated an exceptional ability to boost productivity, increase profits and enhance customer satisfaction both internally and externally.
Susanne holds a master’s degree in finance and a bachelor’s degree in computer science and corporate finance, both from Adelphi University.
